Boston: The Spirit of America

During this program, students learn about the greater context of events leading to the American War for Independence. We critically examine how the ‘founding myths’ of the United States influence current US society and politics, developing a more nuanced understanding about the role of history in shaping current thinking. All students explore Boston together, including visits to the Museum of Science, Faneuil Hall, the Freedom Trail, as well as private tours of area universities.
